William Stockbridge

I started my fitness career in 1996 as a fitness instructor, continuing to add a wide range of qualifications, such as Class Instructor, gaining Personal Trainer, Sports Massage Qualifications and Kettlebells. I continue to add to my knowledge, please see my qualifications in the link below.

Through the years I gained a great understanding of how the body works, through rehabilitation, training, identifying weak and tight muscles and improving the posture, mobility, flexibility and movement to help with injury.

I will work with the body to improve your balance and correct your posture alignment.

To broaden my understanding of the body I became a Massage Therapist in 2011, massage helps to speed up the healing process by working with soft tissue injury.

Through completing these courses I have an excellent knowledge of nutrition and by assessing your diet I will be able to advise you on weight loss, muscle gain and also highlight foods that can hinder the healing process and advise on the foods that can enhance the healing process.
On a personal note, I have enjoyed years of weight training, Muay Thai boxing which included travelling to Thailand to enhance my knowledge in thai boxing, thai massage in a chair and Reiki.

Also taking part in triathlons from Sprint, Olympic distance, half Ironman to full Ironman.

By achieving my personal best in 2015 at Fambridge Yacht Club for Middle Distance I have qualified for team GB.
I get regular sports massage with William and it has really helped prevent injury and enhance my training I have reached my personal best in running events. Although it's not always relaxing William knows when he has reached the tight muscles and works on them adequately.

I wanted to complete the New York tunnel to towers 5km run and, being 50 plus and not particular fit, I knew that I had a lot of work to do. William was recommended to me as a pt. He encouraged and motivated me and makes the training sessions fun and rewarding. His knowledge with regards to diet and nutrition is extensive and his communication style makes it easy to put theory into practice. As a result I completed the run in a respectable time! William's genuine enthusiasm came through on every session and I cant recommend him highly enough.
